Liquid nitrogen quick-freezing technology is being applied to the processing of agricultural products such as coffee beans and nuts. At an ultra-low temperature of -196℃, ice crystals form much faster than cells can be damaged, thereby maximizing the preservation of nutritional components. Shenglong Oxygen Plant has partnered with the Baoshan Small-Grain Coffee Industry Alliance to build a liquid nitrogen quick-freezing production line, resulting in a 40% year-on-year increase in export revenue.
Livestock and poultry farming
Oxygen-enriched combustion technology is used for heating in livestock farms. By increasing the oxygen concentration, this technology accelerates fuel combustion and reduces energy consumption by 30%. The oxygen-enriched heating system, custom-designed for a large-scale pig farm with 10,000 pigs in Longling County, has boosted the survival rate of piglets to 98%.
