Medical oxygen supply
The Shenlong Oxygen Plant produces medical liquid oxygen in compliance with the standards set forth in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. This liquid oxygen is converted into gaseous oxygen via cryogenic storage tanks and vaporizers, and then directly supplied to medical institutions such as Baoshan People’s Hospital and Longling County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. The plant’s liquid oxygen station features a dual-loop gas supply system, ensuring a continuous 24-hour oxygen supply to critical departments including operating rooms and ICUs. Annual oxygen supply exceeds 5,000 tons.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the plant urgently expanded its liquid oxygen storage capacity and, at its peak, delivered up to 30 tons of medical oxygen per day to designated hospitals, ensuring adequate supply for the treatment of critically ill patients.
Medical equipment accessories
Liquid nitrogen is used for cryopreservation in biobanks; its ultra-low temperature of -196°C enables long-term storage of biological agents such as stem cells and vaccines. The Shenlong Oxygen Plant is collaborating with the Baoshan Biopharmaceutical Industrial Park to build a regional liquid nitrogen supply station, thereby reducing the costs for companies that would otherwise have to construct their own cold storage facilities.
